Two Kinds of Fool

With the re-release of Space Hulk, it seemed only fitting to have a series of stories centred around the heroic actions of Space Marines and Genestealers aboard these haunted derelicts. I’d already moved a number of pieces on the board of my preparations for The Swords of Calth, and this was a chance to move another few around the board. With Tigurius’s dire pronouncement in my Calgar – Lord of Ultramar short story, it was time to see if his assessment of Severus Aggeman’s recovery was on the nose. It was also a chance to see Cato Sicarius in action and show that while, yes, he’s not the most likeable of characters in some ways, he’s still a hero of the Chapter and an honourable man. He truly seeks the betterment of the Ultramarines, and if that means he gets a greater time in the spotlight of glory, then so be it…

And stories set on tyranid-infested genestealers are always fun to do.
