Hello and a hearty welcome to the 4th Company, the official website for Graham McNeill, author and wordsmith.
For those of you who don't know, Graham is an author and ex-games developer, who writes novels, short stories (and whatever else comes his way!) for the Black Library as well as various other side projects. He’s probably best known as the writer of the Ultramarines series of books, featuring Captain Uriel Ventris and his faithful friend Sergeant Pasanius.
Uriel and Pasanius are the central characters in the Ultramarines series of novels, published by the Games Workshop literary wing, the Black Library, and the newest one is in the process of being planned out now. It involves a trip back to Macragge and some dealing with some old friends and enemies, an encounter with some feisty aliens and of course the odd bit of mayhem.
Graham’s also penned a few Warhammer stories. The Ambassador Chronicles tells the story of a retired ex-general sent to Kislev and who becomes embroiled in murder, treachery and a terrifying Chaos invasion. Another fantasy novel, Guardians of the Forest explores the magical and dangerous forest of Athel Loren, home of the fey and mysterious Wood Elves. Watch out for Graham’s next fantasy novel, where he once again returns to the Elves, though this time he’s heading to the High Elves of Ulthuan.
So, enjoy the website and we’ll be making sure that it stays current and updated with fresh articles, new interviews, competitions and all manner of interesting stuff, so keep checking back for new stuff. There’s also a blog, that Graham promises faithfully to update every week, with news of upcoming books, signings and general chit chat about the weather and what he can see from his window…
